G3 2009 – Surrey
Clay pigeon shooting is safe, easy, exciting and a lot of fun. It involves being outside, making lots of noise and breaking things. What's not to love?
Beginners, shooting instinctively, often have the edge on the old hands who think too much. Women tend to shoot better than men - though no men ever admit it!
Test your skills with real guns under the close supervision and coaching of experienced professional instructors. Will all that time on the d-pad count for anything? Are your reflexes what you think they are?
At each 'stand' an instructor will give you a gun and allow you a couple of practice shots before you shoot pairs of clays. Each stand simulates live game birds coming from different directions. Some are easy, some more challenging.
At the inaugural G3 event in 2007, all the instructors commented afterward on just how impressive novices from the games industry seem to be. Lets impress them even more this year!
